Es probable que a la mayoría esta palabra anglosajona no les suele demasiado, y bueno... será porque allá la industria está tan desarrollada y ramificada que las agencias presentan un libro cada temporada para presentar a sus diamantes en bruto, y nuevas potenciales top models.
Abrimos un poquito la mente, y nos encontramos con diferentes conceptos, ideas y presentaciones de showcards de las agencias. Algunas, como Supreme, han causado polémica esta temporada al presentar tarjetas con imágenes oscuras, violentas y casi perturbantes, aunque esta agencia siempre se ha caracterizado por empujar los límites de la creatividad un poco más allá. De otro lado, tenemos el clasicisimo y elegancia de Women, preferidos por muchos, y el toque simpático de Major, mostrando a sus modelos no sólo en fotos sino también dibujadas en cada showcard. Todo un trabajo de arte, creatividad y estilo de parte de los grupos que trabajan en las agencias.
Ahora, sin más tribulaciones, les presento los nuevos rostros de esta temporada FW 09/10 para el hemisferio norte, y les hago un adelanto de las chicas que ya están creando expectativa en la industria y de las que yo encuentro un tremendo potencial para el negocio.
It's possible that this anglo word doesn't ring a bell, and well... maybe because up there the industry is much more developed and subdivided that all the agencies present a special book each season in which they present their potencial top model material.
We open our minds a little bit and we find different concepts, ideas and presentations in this showcards, revealing a hardworking team and well structured business. Some of them, like Supreme have caused controversy by showing these cards with dark, violent and even disturbing images altought this agency has always stand out by pushing the limits of creativity. By the other hand, we have the classy style and elegance of Women, prefered by many, and the nice touch of Major, showing their models not just in pictures, but also drawn in their cards. Such great pieces of art, styling and attitude by workers of the agencies.
Now, what everybody has been waiting for. I introduce you the fresh faces of this FW 09/10 Season in the norte hemisphere, and show you the girls that are already causing a buzz in the clients and the ones I think have a major plus for the business.
